Everybody Has a List

Everybody has a list. You could be a full time contractor or a do-it-yourself-er, but I bet you still have a list.

The list is a never ending line-up of projects you plan on doing. The moment Jocie and I purchased our home, I began thinking of all the things I wanted to change. A few of the home improvements we completed so far (which I will post on later) include: completely remodeling the kitchen and master bathroom, and replacing our windows and roof. As each project comes together, I take a sense of pride in what we have accomplished.

Fortunately, it also renews my energy to tackle that next item on the list. On the horizon I see laying hardwood floors and installing recessed lighting in the basement, not to mention all the other odd and ends (repainting, decorating).

What do you think? What are the major projects on your list? Do you think you’ll ever be done? What keeps you motivated to keep at it?

Right now my list involves restoring one (1!) window. And unpacking hte rest of my boxes. :) Baby steps…

I think unpacking is one of my least favorite things ever! What kind of work does the window need?
