I’d rent a “Demolition Hammer” because who doesn’t want to use a high power destruction tool? But I guess a chainsaw would be more useful, until the tree I cut down falls on the house, or takes out power lines. Taking out the one tree would open up the view into the front yard (40 years ago the tree was cute, now it’s just big), or if I take out a different tree, I can put in a straight driveway to the garage I plan to build this summer.

I’m very happy to hear Home Depot rents tools now! The small local place we’ve rented from before isn’t open very early or late, so it usually meant taking half a day off to return or pick up tools.

It’d be wonderful to rent a Rear Tine Tiller this year, to make short work of prepping our ever-expanding garden. And I had to laugh at the Home Depot page which says this tool “Prepares ground for *sewing* and planting” – haha, oops!

A couple of years ago, we bought a cheap power washer because we finally became home owners and it’s the type of thing we wanted to own.

WELL, it worked for about two months and then bit the dust. How disappointing! The house is in desperate need of a cleaning for the siding and if my local Home Depot rents the power washers, I’m there! :-)

There are two tools we would like to rent. The first is the Carpet Cleaner Carpet Express. I would love to spring clean all the carpeting in our home which half of our home is carpeted. We have not done this since we installed most of the carpeting about 4 years ago so it is time to do so. This would be wonderful for us! I would also love to rent the Landa 6.5 HP Pressure Washer and power wash the outside of our home, garage, deck and dock. This is something I would love to do before we restain and water seal it again this summer. Yes, this wonderful GC to Home Depot would surely help us get started nicely on those 2 projects! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter.

I love having standard shift and feeling like a real person instead of your everyday mini-van mom. I’d take the truck to our recycling center and fill it up with mulch for my gardens.
