A leaky roof–make sure you have good flashing–made a huge leak in our familyroom so we had to tear the wall down. Now we need to sheet rock and more to be put back together so this would really be a help.

I know EXACTLY what we’d buy if we won. You see, we kept putting off caulking our tub, and the water kept leaking a little bit every day. It soaked through the sheet rock of our ceiling in the dining room (unbeknowndst to us) and one morning, half the ceiling, dripping wet, fell onto our table. Lesson learned….CAULK! I would buy caulk and sheet rock.

As Sr Citizens who have never wasted money, things are not tight for us but our local Home Depot is a favorite spot to get the needed home repair jobs I usually do myself. This would be a plus for me any time of year.

There are WAY too many things we need to do around this house. (If anyone knows who I should contact to see why my floor leaks every time it rains, I’d sure appreciate it. We have concrete slab, covered by carpet. The leak is from the floor. My guess is either lack of drainage system or crack in the foundation? But who do I call? I have to call blind from the yellow pages, but I don’t know anyone who’s had a similiar problem, so how can I get someone to refer anyone? If you have any ideas, please contact me.
