I’d buy a new ceiling fixture for the dining room in my mom’s unit. The wires on that one are worn and fraying, so it’s a safety hazard.

I could have used it today when I bought $750 worth of items for overhauling a bathroom.
But I’d use it to buy new rosettes, new plinths, and new casing for an archway I’m planning to clean up this weekend.

I’m going to buy new rafters for my bathroom floor, as the current support system is deterioring and horribly uneven. I’m afraid one of these days I’ll be sitting on the toilet and I’ll fall into the basement.
