This month, the nice folks at Home Depot are giving one lucky OPC reader a brand new ceiling fan (in the form of a $175 gift card, redeemable online or at your local Home Depot).
A ceiling fan is a great addition to any room in your home. It adds function and class, and can save you up to 15% off your energy bills. Home Depot offers a wide variety of ceiling fans from the most popular manufacturers: Hunter Douglas, Hampton Bay, Heath Zenith, Progress Lighting, and more. You can choose from traditional or contemporary, brushed nickel or antiqued brass, and hundreds of other styles, colors, and options.

Thanks for the giveaway. A ceiling fan would do our 1 1/2 story house good. We have issues with the a/c making it upstairs in the summer and the heat making it upstairs in the winter. Remember with the rising gas/energy costs, you can run a ceiling fan in ‘reverse’ to circulate warm air throughout a room allowing you to set the thermostat just a little lower and save some money

I really need a ceiling fan, our old one is, well just that, Old and doesnt work right, it shakes when it is turned on and vibrates way too much and is noisy and the chain to pull it on has fallen off so basically we need a new ceiling fan. I am a disabled single mother of an autistic teenager which I raise without child support, or help from anyone. Money is extremely tight, and we barely afford to pay all our bills AND have money to feed my “always hungry” teenager.

Whoo-hoo! We live in a log cabin chalet with vaulted ceilings and 2 stories of large windows in our living room. BRRRRR! The kerosene heater that we use in the winter was just asking us the other day why we don’t have a ceiling fan on one of the beams, to send the warm air back down. I’d love to tell my hardworking little heater that a fan was coming. (It would be excellent in the summer heat, too.) Thanks for the opportunity!

I’m disabled and raising my 5 y/o Meth child grandson. I am also suffering from menopause and need a ceiling fan in my bedroom and would love to win this beautiful ceiling fan. I just have light bulbs hanging from my ceiling as I don’t even have a light fixture right now.
