  1. I would put them out by our patio, so we could get the food from the grill to the table without our dogs getting a wonderful treat! Of course, they are banking on us LOSING this contest… they are big fans of late evening grilling.

  2. What a wonderful giveaway! I have been thinking about buying some of these! I would use these around our back patio.

  3. Ann Babenco responds:

I would use these to replace my lighting around my walkway that is broken. These were installed many years ago, and someone is always walking into them and breaking them…(mostly the kids) and they are electric…so now I have some that don’t light.

  4. Kari Follett responds:

Around my garden. I think they’d look really beautiful out there. Thanks!!

  5. Johannah B responds:

I have solar lights, and they work just fine.

  8. Kathy from NJ responds:

I would probably use them in the front garden area, similar to the way they are shown on their website

  9. I would use them at my Mom’s house along her walkway. She gets home from work around midnight, and needs some sort of lighting to guide her to the door. She had a set of solar lights, but they died when the nearby river flooded the yard.

  10. Oooo! I would love these. I’d use them at the front of the house where our verandah will be (um, once we get to that point in our renos). :)

  11. I’ve actually been thinking about getting some solar lamps to illuminate the gangway area between my house and the neighbor’s, because although our PO put nice lights on the back of the house, they didn’t think of it to put any on the side. As such, once night falls, it’s really difficult to see over there, which makes using the hose for gardening/watering and even seeing the gate much more difficult, not to mention walking through there a total chore for guests (at barbecues and such). Plus, a simple safety issue is that I can’t see ANYTHING out there at night. Sorry for the long comment–I’ll take a pic of the area and post to my blog.

  12. I just bought a house and we’d love to use these on the front walkway. They look great. It is helpful to hear good reviews from the other commentors.

  13. Scott Johnson responds:

I’d love to add these to our porch to accent our plants and landscaping in the evening. We’ve been trying to sell our “cookie cutter” townhome for months and this accent lighting might be a way to stand out from the rest! Added bonus, environmentally friendly! Ya just can’t lose! :)

    Thanks!
