I Just Entered…
If you’re surfing or subscribing to home improvement blogs, chances are you’re already familiar with HGTV’s Dream Home Giveaway. But, in case you aren’t, here’s the deal:
HGTV is giving away a $2.2 million grand prize package that includes a custom built beach house located in the Florida Keys, a new 2008 GMC Yukon, designer furnishings throughout the home, and a “Doggy Dream Home” by IAMS. You can enter to win once per day until Feb. 19, 2008 on their web site, after which time the drawing is closed. Winners will be selected on/around Feb. 28.
The rules page confirms that the “odds of winning are based on the number of entries received.” Since any U.S. citizen can enter the sweepstakes once per day through Feb. 19, my odds of winning are probably somewhere close to the odds I’ll finish my next two day project on time.
That said, I like to dream. And entering just once keeps the dream alive!
