		<description>I think the question is too broad...I mean, what CAN'T you use vice-grips for? They are my favorite non-power tool of all time. 

Seriously, I think we've used them on every project. I'll have to scour the blog for particularly good instances.</description>

		<description>I don't know if I'll get around to entering... but I though I would share MY good use here...  prying EACH and EVERY masonry nail holding the siding on our house by hand using the careful twist out method.  AAACK!  It'll be a while before I can look at my vise grips again.</description>
