BIG NEWS! This course on completely available on YouTube FOR FREE! Enjoy the Busy Girl’s Guide to Hand Lettering all access – just keep coming back here to see what’s new!

I never thought I would be the girl teaching an online class, let alone in hand lettering. I wasn’t an art major, I was a family and individual therapist. LOL I started hand lettering over 6 years ago because I wanted to incorporate it in decor but didn’t want to pay big bucks. So I practiced. And made a lot of projects. And practiced some more. A year or two ago, hand lettering as an art started getting popular and I realized that I could enjoy it beyond just the function it provided. It became a way for me to relax. To create without the big bucks or a lot of time. It really was the functional art for this Busy Girl! Hand lettering expanded to every area of life for me – making gifts for friends, cards, t-shirts for my kids, tote bags, the works! I started teaching classes locally and realized how much more I could give if we did an online class! And here we are!

Do you have to have an iPad Pro for this class? And are we making what is on the pictures above only?

    • Jocie says:

Hey Barb, You definitely do not need an iPad – it is just one section in the course of MANY! In addition to learning how to covert your hand lettering for Silhouette cut files, the course also includes how to use hand lettering in art, on signs (and how to make wooden signs) and teaches the basic techniques that can be used across lots of mediums! I hope that answered your question and if if didn’t, keep asking away! 🙂

  2. Eva Scott says:

My handwriting, by default, is not artsy. It’s not terrible but definitely not artsy. Is this something you can learn or do you have to have the basis of really cool handwriting?

    • Jocie says:

You definitely do NOT need artsy hand writing at all! Mine is just average. If I think about it, I can write and print nicely but most of the time it looks like junk. LOL But my hand lettering on the other hand…. Girl, you can totally do this!

  3. Michele says:

    Hi,
I am interested in this class, but still on the fence. Does it include getting your designs from paper or iPad to actual physical files? I am looking to make a large 18×20 framed picture of a personal piece of my lettering, but not sure how to do it to get it big enough without being pixelated… so many terms out there, like vectorizing, digitizing… terms that I have no idea what they actually mean. Does this course address that?
    Thanks in advance.

    • Jocie says:

Hey Michele, The course does address some of this, but the great part of this course is that you have ongoing access to the private FB group where you can ask these questions!!

  4. Judy says:

Hi, I am about to sign up for this class, but am wondering how long will I have access to the course materials? Thank you!

  5. sandra says:

  6. Ginny says:

    Is your class still available?

  7. Barbara says:

Is this course still available? If so, are there any current coupons??
