Just a light post for the weekend:
I (Kim) went upstairs to find one of our kids’ videos for them to watch the other day, and when I came back downstairs, they were sitting side by side on our couch, chatting about “puttin’ dis on my laptop” and “logging.” When I rounded the corner, I nearly cracked up. But instead, I made a silent dash for the camera:
Since neither of them can read yet, I’m not sure how much I’ll trust their expertise in the arenas of their choices. But obviously, they’ve been watching the four of us and my sister Amy more closely than we knew. Now if we can just get them to start POSTING what they know, we’ll be all set!

I design websites and use sitemeter on them all. I can’t tell you how much sleep I lost and how much I worried as I tried to figure out why ALL of my customers sites wouldn’t open last night and this morning! Fortunately a Google search led us to some woman’s information about Javascript errors. So I immediately removed all Javascripts.
Now we find this page full of info.Isn’t there a way to email all sitemeter customers for such an unexpected crash as this?
Looking forward to complete and total repair so I can use sitemeter again.

Heh. Your site is the primary source for information on the SiteMeter crash. What is this “Home Improvement” of which you speak?

d.b: haha! We got quite a bit of traffic from the sitemeter bug (read: thousands and thousands). Looks like the story has really spread, and now that sitemeter has it fixed, I didn’t bother continually updating the post.
Glad it was helpful to so many people, tho. Thanks for the comments on Kim’s post. I agree; our kids are cute

Very cute! I overheard my daughters playing some game the other day, and they, too, were talking about putting stuff on their blog!
