My father-in-law told me the Golden Rule of DIYing: Whenever your significant other asks you if you can do some project and how much you think it will cost, always include the cost of every tool you think you’ll need in the estimate. It’s the closest most of us come to getting paid for our work.

I saw a demo by the Kreg family at a woodworkers show a couple of years ago. It was amazing. I think those guys could build an entire house out of pocket hole joints

Well…I probably could do an Irish jig faster than I could utilize the
Kreg K4 handy jig. But practise makes perfect. If I won this classy looking tool, I’d be spitting out woodworking creations faster than I could do an Irish jig!

I am an amateur woodworking enthusiast with a minimal assortment of Quality power tools and I am also a bit of a perfectionist with a desire to build our own media centre / home entertainment system in our family room. I can not think of a better addition to my list of quality tools than the Kreg K4 pocket hole jig. This would certainly increase the ability to produce the perfect finished product. I have watched the lat night kreg jig comm. and i went out and got me one .the R3 IT IS GREAT .YOU HAVE TO HAVE ONE it turn a greenhorn in to a pro in the first time you use it i wish i had the money to get the r4 instead but uneployement checks are not the high so if you are out of work or just love the hobby get you a kreg jig now make some extra $$$ fixing and building stuff to sell use their plains to help you out hope this help you with your delaying of getting one

This Kreg Jig really came in handy for the cabinet I built, but I dont want to borrow my brothers tools for my next project, creating a Home Theater Center. Pocket holes are the perfect way to fasten furniture together and hide the joinery.

I’ve seen these things mentioned before, and I’d love to have one for making some furniture for our new house, after I finish remodeling two bathrooms, a LR, DR, Family Room, add a master bath/ closet, and build a garage of course (not in any of that order)

I am in the process of building some wall cabinets and several guys that I work with told me that I have to get the KREG POCKET HOLE JIG, that it is a must for any cabinet job. They spoke very highly of all the KREG products.
