React Universal Dance Pad Does Not Work with Ninendo Wii
Just in case anyone out on the net is researching this, the React Universal Dance Pad that indicates it works with Nintendo Game Cube does not work with Nintendo Wii. It does work with XBOX 360, Playstation 3, and Game Cube. When plugged into a Nintendo Wii, the React Dance Pad acts like the down key on the keypad is being pressed repeatedly. We just discovered this the hard way, and are now selling our Dance Pad on Craigslist.
React Dance Pads are sold at a number of retailers; the most prominent is Best Buy.
Note: This isn’t false advertising on the part of React. They never claim the dance pad works with the Wii, only the Game Cube. But, it’s easy to assume since many of the controllers for the Game Cube work with the Wii, this one might also.
Other Dance Pads work just fine with Wii. Here’s a good one by DDR A Game on Amazon. Amazon also has a host of others, just use the search bar at the top once you’re there.
