The Better Half – DIY Share Party #9

April 27, 2012 | by Kim (email) |

TGIF!  And welcome to this week’s DIY Crafting, Home Improvement and Decor Link-it-Up!  If you’ve just finished a DIY project – big or small – we want to see it!  Just link up at the bottom of this post, and share your creativity and hard work.  We’re here to appreciate it!

My Favorite DIY Link it Up Features From Last Week!

Once again, we got a broad variety of link-ups last week – from the industrial to the elegant… to a dog toy!  All good stuff, and here are just three of the awesome submissions:

1.  Paver Path: Hard Work but Worth Every Sore Muscle! from The DIY Village – Suffering from a classic case of scope creep, their small trash can pad turned into an entire paved path around the side of their house – and a beautiful one at that!  This was clearly the most physically-taxing submission in the link-up (While you’re at their site, check out their Craft Room makeover – wow!)

2.  This week’s impressive money-saving submission:  Frou FruGal’s  Pottery Barn Knock-Off Quiltbeautiful and quite a discount from the inspiration piece!

3.  And finally, the entry that reminded me instantly of Jocie (who similarly has a thing for making door wreaths), Southern Lovely’s Coffee Filter {Pinwheel} Wreath wins “Most Unexpected Beauty” of the week.

How to Join in!

  • SUBMIT! up to three projects (crafts, how-to’s, decor, reviews, or really anything home improvement related) from your site. Use the link to the article (rather than your site’s homepage).

  • SUBSCRIBE! (see sidebar) to receive updates from our site!

and one “don’t”…

  • DON’T link up Giveaways, ETSY Stores, For-Sale stuff, etc.

Share the Love!

Don't forget to grab our button or link back to our party from your post so other's can join in on the fun!
