Free Winter Printable: A Few of My Favorite Things

I hope you enjoy this free winter printable that highlights all my favorite things about winter! Keen, Duluth, and the Monogram Company sent me products to be featured in this post, but 100% of opinions are mine. There’s nothing I love more in winter than snuggling up in a warm cozy flannel with my favorite boots, drinking hot cider while watching some Raven’s football! It’s been really hot here in Baltimore, until a few days ago. Now, its like we skipped Fall entirely and went straight for winter. Well,...

How I Survived My Thanksgiving in the Wild

How I Survived My Thanksgiving in the Wild

This epic and totally untrue tale of how I survived Thanksgiving in the wild is a sponsored post for Duluth Trading Company. No animals or people were harmed in the production of this post. All opinions and bad jokes are 100% mine. Holidays can be a scary time of year for lots of people. Family drama, bulging waistlines, maybe a burnt turkey or two. But mine was scarier than most this Thanksgiving…we went to the wild, dangerous hills of Pennsylvania. That’s right. Not only are there lots of Steelers fans...

Giveaway: Minted.com Holiday Photo Cards!

Thank you so much for checking out my beautiful girls and getting a sneak peak of our holiday photo cards! We are so excited to partner with minted.com for this sponsored post to give away a $50 gift card. Opinions are all mine. I’ll admit it – it’s been a few years since I sent out a holiday card. Every few years, I feel so loved and filled with joy at each card I receive in the mail, that I rush to purchase and hand them out. Yes, hand them out. That means, unless you are my grandmother, I ain’t...

Just Call Me Clark Kent: A Sponsored Post

Kim and I received free glasses in exchange for this post but opinions and thoughts are 100% mine…as if anyone could shut me up. lol. I know you don’t see many pix of me on the blog. Usually that’s because I’m behind the camera. But the pictures you do see, I am wearing contacts. I try to pretty myself up, put on a little makeup, maybe even shower if I’m going to have my picture taken, let alone put on the blog. The reality is, that I don’t love wearing contacts and 90% of the time I wear glasses! Who...

The Mother of All Giveaways!!

Mother’s Day is coming up and to celebrate, me and a few bloggy friends are having the mother of all giveaways! You don’t have to be a mom to enter or even give it to your mother for a gift. And who wouldn’t love a $350 gift card to Amazon? What will you buy? Will you keet it? Give it away? Personally, I have a mental list of things that I would love to buy: an industrial mixer, a new iPhone Speck case, a gold watch, some glass bottles for my YL Essential Oils. I could go on forever, given its a guilt-free...

We’ve Got Spirit, Yes We Do…

These Spirit Markers and People Paint body markers really brought me back to my cheerleading days. Did you know I was a cheerleader? No, I wasn’t that popular girl who dated the football players. I was just a super energetic girl who loved to encourage others. Still am. No surprise, I’ve made a lot of posters in my time. Our girls aren’t sports age yet, but Kim and Fred’s kids are, and we try to go and cheer them on as often as we can. So, when DecoArt offered to send me some Spirit Writers and People Paint to try...

Peacock Painting Party: Sponsored Post

Have you ever been to a painting party before? I never have, although I have done a few wine and pottery nights with my besties. Recently, DecoArt contacted me and asked if I would be willing to host a Social Artworking Party for my friends. It was a super easy “YES!” The girls came with margaritas and snacks in hand, but were more than a little hesitant. I am probably one of the most artistic/crafty ones in the group, although my cousin, Naomi and friend, Amy are pretty darn talented too. But for everyone else in the group,...
