Weekend Roundup: Architects, Offices, and Back Rooms

ads>

I figured I’d close out the week with a little weekend round up highlighting a few things going on in the blogosphere. These sites are definitely worth checking out if you’ve got some reading time.

Finding An Architect

Jon @ Tales From The Eye writes about his experience trying to find an architect for a new addition he and the wife (Cindy) are putting on. They first tried to locate an architect with Google Local, which didn’t yield much success. Second, Jon tried Guru.com, with MUCH more success. The story is really good. One architect was extremely responsive, and the last post shows pictures. Here’s a link that’ll let you read all three – just start from the bottom up.

Do Messy Offices Pay? (Vote Aimee!)

Aimee over at Aimee’s Petite Maison entered into the Messiest Office contest and has been selected as one of ten finalists! Go to her page on it here and follow the links to vote. If she wins, it’s worth $10,000! Voting closes March 3, and EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

Back Room Advice

Jennifer over at Tiny Old House is working on some back room ideas. She’s already gotten 15 opinions. I like the one that includes a bathroom. You can weigh in too…

Before And After – Tomorrow!

Have fun on your projects, and remember, Sunday-Monday here at OPC is our second Before And After. Get your pages ready to link in! It’s easy!

Thanks for the point to my ideas post… I’ve gotten some GREAT ideas! I already have three new and improved floor plan ideas. :) Time to talk to a plumber.
