The Humble Brag: Link Party #5
Thank you all for coming back yet again for our fifth Humble Brag of the year. Thank you, thank you, thank you….and we hope to keep seeing you week to week! While you’re here, also check out our Reader Rewards program – you can get FREE stuff just for visiting and commenting!
Want Free Advertising?
For a limited time, we are offering FREE advertising for one lucky blogger per week who links up at the party. This week we’re doing it a little differently – I will RANDOMLY select one link. We will advertise your blog in our sidebar, and trust me, that’s pretty cool since our main OPC site gets thousands of hits per day and The Better Half gets thousands per month! So tell your blogger friends and come link up. (Don’t forget, you have to link back or grab a button to win)
Some Brag-worthy Projects
It was another great week, filled with lots of really creative DIy projects and crafts! Here are some cool ones you should be sure to visit:
From twelveOeight, this is such a cute and simple way to decorate for Thanksgiving, and I think my girls would have a blast helping!
I am a huge sucker for cinnamon breads, especially if there are raisins involved. Don’t Waste the Crumbs shared a delicious looking recipe for Cinnamon Swirl Oat Bread. yummmmmm.
I am in love with this mint color school desk from Atkinson Drive…and even better, she got the desk free!
Check out this simple DIY vintage desk organizer from Bullfrogs and Bulldogs! So pretty – I will need to add this to my DIY list, for sure.
Have you seen this sure little kitchen sink skirt made from flour sacks and hand towels by White Lace Cottage? Super cute, no sew, and she highlights some other cool projects in the post, too.
Our #1 Brag!
You know we love DIY projects here at OPC, and I LOVE this Ikea bookcase turned window seat from Chaos In My Casa! She picked some great fabrics, too!
Bragging Rules
The Humble Brag is all about encouraging one another in our pursuits (and sometimes even fails). We’re excited to see what you have been up to in your crafting/DIY world. We also welcome recipes and other projects. I will be visiting each and every link over the coming day or two, so bring it on!
We ask that you:
- Please grab a button or link back to this post
- Link directly to your article
- Don’t link to a shop, store or giveaway
Make sure to check back next week to see if your project has been featured and thanks for sharing.
Grab a Button
Remember, please post a button or text link back to our party somewhere in your original post. We hope you also take the time to click on one or two other party-goers projects and give some encouragement.

Personally I’ve got to give the blue ribbon to the cinnamon bread. Looks so good. That mint desk is also fun, and a great transformation!

Curious about the Ikea window seat. Is it strong enough for an adult to sit on? Love the idea.

Hi! It is strong enough for more than one adult. My daughter and I sit on it with our two dogs and it holds us just fine. Hope that helps.
