Today is a very special link party! In addition to linking up your most current projects and recipes, we are also looking for your favorite wedding ideas, themes, and tips. This is a special request from one of our readers, Paintergal, whose son will be getting married this summer, and she is looking for some inspiration. So let’s help her out!
This weekend is also Ethan’s and my seven year wedding anniversary! It’s gone so fast and I love him more every year, so no seven year itch for us. Heehee.
Here is my own wedding inspiration, Paintergal – a rustic chic wedding that I attended and loved!
Some Bragworthy Projects
To start us off, I thought I would share a few Easter ideas, in case you have procrastinated on Easter (like me, lol).
Family Home and Life shares 37 Easter Ideas – wow, that’s a lot of fabulous ideas!
I realized last week that I didn’t share any recipes with you last week, and for all you foodies out there, this is one to try – Muddy Buddy Popcorn from Shaken Together. Yummy!
I had no clue plastic eggs could look so classy and rustic, but this egg topiary and wreath by The Messy Root I am putting on my to-do list for next year!
Sheila at Plum Doodles does it again with a fabulous bookcase turned French Country!
In addition to this is a great light fixture upgrade idea from Our Pinteresting Family, this also gives you a hint some plans I have up my sleeve for our dining room! Can you guess?!
I am love with these button flour sack towels from Sophisticated Yellow that only cost a couple of dollars to make! Now if only I could find some flour sacks.
I’m hoping my dad doesn’t see this because I am seriously considering making him this sunburst tie clock from Dear Emmeline for Father’s Day! Seriously, what a cool idea!
Our #1 Brag!
We are sooo thankful for each and every linkup, and we feel honored that you would share you choose to party with us. To say thanks, every week we feature one lucky party participant in our sidebar as the Weekly Brag. Our hope is that readers see it and find new sites to inspire them. We always use random.org to select the winner, and out of 89 linked up projects from last week, number 20 was chosen – Jacque and Matt from the DIY village! They have a special place in our hearts, not only because they are fabulous, but because we love fellow DIY couples (like me and Ethan). Also, I love these amazing DIY stencil ideas!
Bragging Rules
The Humble Brag is all about encouraging one another in our pursuits (and sometimes even fails). We’re excited to see what you have been up to in your crafting/DIY world. We also welcome recipes and other projects. I will be visiting each and every link over the coming week, so bring it on!
We ask that you:
- Please grab a button or link back to this post (although not required, we appreciate the love)
- Link directly to your article
- Don’t link to a shop, store or giveaway
Make sure to check back next week to see if your project has been featured and thanks for sharing.
Grab a Button
Remember, please post a button or text link back to our party somewhere in your original post. We hope you also take the time to click on one or two other party-goers projects and give some encouragement.

Ah! Thank you so much, Jocie. You’re the best!
Our son’s wedding will be held outside overlooking a lake. They are going with a rustic theme, so the wedding you attended has plenty of inspiration.
Thanks, everyone! Bring ’em on. 🙂
By the way, I love that photo of you and Ethan. Gorgeous!
Oops, I should go back to bed and start over! I accidentally added my fabric tassels link under the wedding category. Ack!

Thanks soooo much for the party! HAPPY EASTER!! xoxo
Happy Easter. Enjoy time together with families. Lots of good looking recipes here to try as usual. My bookmark list is getting out of control, and I blame this site.
Happy Anniversary! Thanks so much for the feature. 🙂
Happy Anniversary! So sorry I missed the party, but I signed up so I’ll be there next week. You’re the second blogger I found living in Maryland. When I read you picked up stuff at Second Chance in Baltimore, I knew. I just moved to Millersville about a year and half ago, and am learning where everything is. Great Blog!
Happy anniversary! Seven years is a great start!!
