A month or so ago, I was invited to participate in the WayFair/Hometalk blogger challenge. Our mission was simple, chose one of three WayFair items to makeover: a mirror, shelf, or lampshade. Then, chose one of three themes: geometric pattern, incorporating rope, or black & white. Are you getting tired of hearing about my dining room makeover yet? I might be… Lol. For the last month, I’ve been working super hard on revamping my dining room. One of our favorite Easter traditions is going to our local pottery shop and painting Easter eggs with my mom. We started when Izzie was just two months old, at the suggestion of my cousin who has carried on this tradition with her girls. The hope is that we will have a pottery egg for each year of the girl’s life and can give them to the girls as a keepsake when they move out of the house.
