Dining Room Makeover!

I’m so excited to share with you the love and family history of this Dining Room Makeover! Thank you so much to Minted for providing the new artwork. All opinions are 100% my own. Our family spends a lot of time in our dining room. We eat all our meals here. Play games. Do art projects. Its where I do all my watercolor and hand lettering. In a lot of homes, the dining room is reserved for special gatherings, but I love being in this room and using the space that we’ve put so much love into. You may remember...

My Living Room Decor! How Have I Not Shown You This Sooner?

While I have been dragging my feet for a long while on sharing my living room decor, a big THANK YOU to Minted.com for providing the geometric heart custom art for this room, and giving me the motivation I needed to write a blog post! Opinions are 100% my own. We moved into our new house over a year ago, now and my living room was the first room I painted and completed. I’m not exactly sure why I haven’t shared it sooner, but I guess better late than never! To start, my new favorite part of the room is my...

5 Minute DIY Tissue Garland

5 Minute DIY Tissue Garland

This year I committed to not going overboard on Valentine’s Day decorations. In fact, I tried to only use what I already had on hand. But when I saw some super cute Tissue Tassel Garland at Target, I was seriously tempted. But for $10, it just didn’t seem worth it. Like a good DIY girl, I instead decided to make my own DIY Tissue Garland for less than $3! I should also tell you that I plan to use all these decorations for Lucy’s upcoming 5th birthday party at the end of January, so it’s a win-win! DIY...

Hello, Easy Master Bedroom Makeover!

This amazingly easy Master Bedroom Makeover was sponsored by Minted.com. They provided the art to help promote our month-long giveaways at the Creativity Unleashed Link Party. All opinions are 100% mine. “Hello, its me. For a couple reasons, but mostly, I had been there done that and was...

Handmade Holiday: DIY Hand Warmers with Essential Oils

These DIY Hand Warmers with Essential Oils are the perfect Homemade Holiday gift as the cold approaches (or maybe it has already found you)! They are inexpensive, easy to make even for this novice sewer and use supplies found in most homes. I made a bunch for myself and some friends, then saw a friend at the bus stop who made one for her daughter to hold in the cold. I felt a little bad that I didn’t even think of my kids. haha From now on, I’ll heat up a couple extra DIY hand warmers for the girls to hold...
