After a summer of link party excitement, 14 weekly winners, and week of final voting by our readers, a GRAND PRIZE WINNER has been chosen! This year, our big winner (chosen by 45% of our voters) is Amanda at Dixie Delights for her basement renovation. She was chosen as a weekly winner by Rhoda at Southern Hospitality, and it was a well deserved win, for sure. As our grand prize winner, Amanda will receive a $150 gift card to the home improvement store of her choice.
Amanda took around 8 months to completely remodel her very drab basement into a very fab space! In our house, 8 months is pretty quick…lol!

Now, the AFTER! Seriously, I love the color scheme, detail, and personalized touch. She did an amazing job of filling the space without adding clutter.
I am in love with these pillows. For real.
This picture wall is A-MAZ-ING! I can’t imagine how ling it took to frame and place all these pix, but its beautiful.
Thanks Amanda and all of our link party-goers who were kind enough to come hang out and support One Project Closer and spread the word about Habitat for Humanity. In all, we donated $1400 to Habitat for Humanity on behalf of our winners, gave away $700 in gift cards to our weekly winners, and finally $150 to our grand prize winner, Amanda!

What a transformation- loving the gray and yellow color scheme!
I think it really helped to have a lighter color scheme too…the dark carpet wasn’t helping the place feel any more cheerful.
But I still can’t get over how many pictures that is. Crazy
